Hello, I am Yiyuan Han (韩怡媛 in Chinese), a researcher in pain and neural engineering. As the main project of my PhD study, I developed a novel approach to detect acute pain with electroencephalogram (EEG).  In February 2024, I joined the Shirvalkar Pain Neuromodulation Lab as a postdoctoral researcher at UCSF, where I am extending my work on pain to chronic pain of clinical patients and developing approaches for pain neuromodulation.
